SEAT has widened its range for 2010 with yet another new model - the stylish and svelte five door Ibiza ST estate.
The company says this significantly increases its presence in the supermini sector and the ST comes with five of the latest VW group engines and an extensive array of equipment and technology.
In the UK, it offers a choice of three petrol and two TDI engines with the latest common-rail fuel injection.
Four of the five engines operate with direct injection and turbocharging, and outputs range from 85 to 105bhp.
More details about the new car's specification, pricing and model line-up will be revealed closer to its UK launch date this summer.
But with a good looking shape and the latest SEAT 'face', it should appeal to a large number of buyers who don't have many smaller estates to choose from.
Interior
It is 18 centimetres longer than the Ibiza hatch and this creates a load capacity good enough to satisfy the most difficult of families.
The normal luggage capacity of 430 litres can be easily increased in stages by folding the split rear seats, and the designers have made the hatch low and wide for easy loading.
