Oak Tree Jack lead Don Williams Premier Division in the Crosby & District Sunday Football League

OAK Tree Jack lead the Don Williams Premier Division in the Crosby & District Sunday Football League after a 1-0 home win over Murphy’s.

Second placed Frank Armitt won 6-2 against Village Inn Valentine with goals from Paul Barrett, Steve Neild, Liam Lane, Joe Findlay and two from Steve Hewitson.

Two goals from James Quadrio helped Saltbox to a 3-1 win against Barr Aintree, a 1-0 win at Forefield Rangers.

Rileys and Tom Jones drew 1-1, Steve Horan scoring for Rileys and Tony Willis for Tom Jones.

Sefton Arms are joint top of Division One following a 9-2 win at Tanners United with Martin Laverick scoring a hat-trick.

William of York won 5-4 at Beno’s to keep them joint leaders, while Queens Arms won 2-0 at The Vic with goals from Mark Brown and Wayne Shillock.

A hat-trick from Steve Hog helped Selwyn to a 6-0 win at Daniel and four goals from Jay Felton helped Cedar Vale to a 9-0 win at Spotmix.

Mark Hatton scored both for Linacre Athletic to rescue a point in a 2-2 draw with Sports Bar Netherton, who had Mick Cousins and Danny Khan on target.
