FRESHFIELDS Animal Rescue Centre holds its annual Open Day & Fun Dog Show on Sunday, July 15, from 11am to 4pm.
Attractions will include craft stalls, beer tent, refreshments and vegetarian catering and of course a chance to meet some of the animals and see the work of the centre first hand.
Classes in the dog show will be Best Condition, Loveliest Eyes, Cutest Puppy, Best Veteran, Waggiest Tail, Most Handsome Dog, Prettiest Bitch, Best Rescue, Dog The Judge Would Like To Take Home.
Rosettes will be awarded to sixth place in each class and in addition there will be many ‘Special’ awards given by the judges. There are lots of prizes for the lucky pooches including dog toys, collars, leads, brushes, combs, treats and doggie shampoos.
There will be rosettes and prizes for the two dogs judged overall Best In Show and Reserve Best In Show at the end of the day.
Everyone is welcome to join in the fun, the show is open to all dogs. Canine entrants and their owners simply need to turn up before the show to register and obtain a ring number.
Registration is from 11am and the show will commence at 1pm.
The charge will be £1 for each class entered.
