Freshfields Animal Rescue Centre in Ince Blundell holding annual Open Day and Dog Show

FRESHFIELDS Animal Rescue Centre’s annual Open Day and Fun Dog Show takes place on Sunday, July 20, from 11am to 4pm. Attractions include craft stalls, beer tent, refreshments and vegetarian catering and a chance to see the work of the centre first hand. Classes in the Fun Dog Show will be Best Condition, Loveliest Eyes, Cutest Puppy, Best Veteran, Waggiest Tail, Most Handsome Dog, Prettiest Bitch, Best Rescue, Dog The Judge Would Like To Take Home. Rosettes will be awarded up to sixth place and there will also be many ‘special’ awards given by judges. Two dogs will be judged overall Best In Show and Reserve Best In Show at the end of the day. Story continues ADVERTISEMENT Everyone is welcome. Canine entrants and their owners simply need to turn up before the show to register and obtain a ring number. Registration is from 11am and the show begins at 1pm. Entry fee is £1 for each class entered. Freshfields Animal Rescue Centre is based at East Lodge Farm, East Lane, Ince Blundell, phone 931 1604.
