Burglars strike at four homes in Crosby

HOMES were targeted in a spate of four daylight burglaries last week.

The first happened on Monday, January 30 on Moorfield Road. Raiders gained access to the house at 7.20pm and stole the keys to a BMW 1 series before making off in the car.

In a burglary last Wednesday (February 2) at 10.15am thieves stole jewellery from a house on Elton Avenue. The jewellery which was taken has been desribied ad quite identifiable as much of it is engraved and include a silver pocket watch and broach, as well as a Olympus camera.

This was followed by a burglary on Oxford Road, Waterloo between 12.30pm and 4.30pm the same day. Thieves stole jewellery, cash and an iPod.

On Monday a large quantity of jewellery, a mobile phone and laptop were stolen from a house on Myers Road East between 11am and 6pm.
