BUSINESSES in Bootle need your help to get them through the year ahead.
Last week the Bootle Times launched its Shop Local campaign to encourage readers to sample what’s on offer in local shops, butchers, greengrocers, village stores and boutiques and help independent traders through the credit crunch.
So why not pledge your loyalty to local shops and support them in their time of need.
Chris White, Bootle Town Centre Manager, said: “It is very important that we support the smaller, independent shops in the town. They in particular have been hit the hardest over the last two years.
“There are a wide range of high quality butchers and fruit and veg shops as well as a number of bike, sewing and clothes shops.”
